Fr.-1173* I just pick up this 1922 $10 Gold Certificate star in Chicago last month. I haven’t had a chance to get it graded yet. It is definitely at least a Choice VF-35PPQ. It came from a long time collector and has embossing and natural paper wave. It is hard to find these stars so original and not pressed out like so many are. There are no corner folds or soil in the center folds which leads me to believe that it was folded and put into a book some time ago for preservation. There are no rips, tears, pinholes, bank stamps or anything else wrong. It is in a state of total originality. This is a great example for the star or gold certificate collector.
I also have a complete set of 1928 gold certificate stars including the $10* gold star, $20* gold star, $50* gold star and the ultimate $100* (7 known) Gold Certificate stars. I am proud to be able to offer these to my clients. No one else come even close to that!
