This is a Fr-261, 1886 $5 Silver Certificate also known as the famous Silver Dollar Back, with the large red seal. This is a mid grade Silver Dollar Back.

The face features the bust of Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th president of the US who was in office from 1869 to 1873. This is one of the most popular notes along with several other "Named Notes". There is a small corner tip missing which is why the price is less than half of what it should be. However the price is exceptional for the type collector. Other than that it is a wonderful collectible note. The paper is firm and the colors are excellent for the grade. So if your wanting to save thousands of dollars, please consider this one.

The serial number is B11044820 and it resides in a conservative PMG-VF30 holder.
