$5,000 1934 High Denomination Notes 2221-F PCGS 55

1934 Atlanta $5,000 bill serial # F00000014A PCGS-55 (unique)

This is very nice and rare, as in unique 1934 $5,000 from the Atlanta District with a low two digit serial number of F00000014A and resides in a PCGS-55 holder. It has a notation of minor repairs which I have yet to find with a 10X loop. It is in no way does it  distract from the overall appearance. According to the Jhon E Cash $5,000 and $10,000 Census:

“THIS IS THE ONE AND ONLY 1934 $5,000 FROM THE ATLANTA DISTRICT”

It is unique and anyone wanting to put a district set of $5,000 bills together they must have this one. Of the 3,600 printed by the BEP this is the single  sole survivor. A must for most collectors.

It features the most desired light Green Seal and has four evenly squared corners. The paper quality and colors are as bright as one would expect from a note that is 90 years old. It has a plate number of B1/1 as you would expect from only one known.

If you’re looking for one of the rarest $5,000 and $10,000 bills known to exist, then this is the one for you. I do think this note needs to be resubmitted to PCGS to get a new holder.
