1882-S $1 PCGS MS66 CAC Monster Toned Morgan - Midnight Carnival
Amidst the incandescent bulbs dotted along swirling amusement rides and the cheaply iconic county fair music rolling through the air you walk along the midway brushing off carney barkers making their wages touting games of skill designed to both humiliate and elevate the participants. The air is filled with a melange of deep fried treats punctuated only by the occasional waft of diesel engine exhaust. The scene is perfect and reminisces of warm summer evenings and good times. This outstandingly lusterous Monster radiates vibrant shades of bright orangy yellow blending across the obverse into magenta, royal blue, and neon grassy green. Libertys face and part of the field is awash in heavy neon textile. The coin is very prooflike with deep flashy mirrors giving it a pop factor of 10. This is a truly magical coin from the Continental bank hoard.
