No Reserve EBay Auctions: For those clients who want a guaranteed and quick sale, the No Reserve Auction is the way to go. You are guaranteed a quick sale and the funds will be paid to you a lot faster. On the consignment sheet mark or check the No Reserve box. According to all the eBay literature and studies, No Reserve Auctions get the most attention from buyers. The more buyers that place bids the more attention it gets. It only takes two people to bid to run the price up. In many cases No Reserve Auctions get higher prices than Fixed Price Auctions. In No Reserve Auctions we will generally start the bidding at $19.95.

Fixed Price EBay Auctions: On Fixed Price Auctions the seller sets the minimum price they will accept for each coin or note. We will list that coin or note on eBay at your listed amount. EBay buyers will have the option to purchase it at the Fixed Price or make an offer. When we receive an offer, we will contact you via email or phone and you will have the option of accepting their offer or declining it. Fixed Priced Auctions generally don’t get the attention or bids of a No Reserve Auction. On the consignment Form, include the Fixed Auction Price for each coin or note.

Scheduling and Duration of eBay auctions: We generally list each eBay auction for 10-days, three times maximum. A new listing fee applies to each new 10-day auction. In some instances we can list the auctions for up to 30 days. Call for details. Once a coin or note has been submitted for eBay it cannot be withdrawn without incurring eBay listing fees. Under normal circumstances, your coins or notes will be listed on eBay within seven to ten days after we receive them. This allows us time to properly receive them, catalog, photograph and properly list them.  We usually prefer to list coins or notes for a 10-day auction on a Thursday, ending on a Sunday as this gives potential buyers two weekends to view the coins and notes. Most buyers spend more time on eBay during the weekends.  You may want to watch your items listed on eBay.
