AKA - Jealous Sister #1. Intense emerald green flows over the obverse to the left infused with hints of purple and magenta with neon chartreuse flowing out to the right obverse. The high points (stars and date) are highlighted in a bright pink with a peach hue. Noted is the textile in the lower left obverse under Libertys chin. This is a VERY rare band of the entire rainbow spectrum that flows over the obverse of this coin. There are only three in existence that I have seen with the intensity and perfection of green that this coin and Jealous Sister #2 display. Bryan Sonnier had a famous coin known as "Envy" that was similarly toned. That is the only coin in the same class as this beauty and Jealous Sister #2. I bought this coin from Larry Shapiro at the Baltimore show through complete chance. I walked up to his table to browse some of his recent purchases and asked if he and anything "I" would be interested in. He proceeded to show me one that he had just sold and introduced the coin as "The Green Hornet" which, upon gazing on the amazing coin, I immediately connected with it and asked why I couldnt buy it. He said it was already sold and I made him an offer on it if the buyer backed out. Well, the coin did not get the coveted CAC sticker so the buyer backed out much to my surprise. That is how I aquired this rare gem and I am proud to offer it up with our other monsters for both your enjoyment and consideration.
