1880S NGC MS63* STAR New Years Rainbow Toned Morgan

Ahh, New Years at Times Square in New York. The dark sky against glistening lights of the lit-up signs surrounding the glowing ball of light slowly lowering during the countdown to a brand new year while the faint harmony of thousands chanting auld lang syne fill the air with sentiments of a clean slate and a brand new start. At that very moment when the final countdown reaches 3...2...1...and then finally millions shout Happy New Years, large and small towns alike across America light up the sky with beautiful displays of colorful chrysanthemums, palms, loud salutes, bottle rockets, and roman candles. These lit-up skies are reminiscent of the wonderful colors that fill the prooflike obverse of this powerfully toned Morgan dollar. Shades of magenta, emerald green intermingled with blue, lime green, and golden yellow explode across the surface of this amazingly toned Morgan dollar. This wonderful coin exhibits slightly different shades as it's tilted into the light due to the prooflike obverse surfaces. Take a look at both the angles of photograhs displayed in this listing (one of the straight on and another with the light higher above showing the prooflike glow in the slab shot below the description) and try to build a composite in your mind. This is not an easy one to image. This coin is holdered by NGC as an MS63 * (STAR), deservedly so, and is assigned the certification number 3023233-002. The coin is in a new NGC MS63* Star holder cert 2544886-005 with a CAC sticker.
