1881-S $1 NGC MS65* Star CAC Intense Neon Banded Rainbow Morgan
Near PL surfaces on this stunning banded rainbow Morgan add so much pop to the presence of this beauty. Absolutely stunning first to terminal spectrum bands flow across the obverse with the brightest neon bands flowing right over Liberty''s cheek, face, and hair. This coin has a nearly perfect composition layout of the perfectly spaced bands of rainbow color. The spectrum starts on the lower right obverse in first cycle shades of tan, peach, pinky lavender, and ice blue. Then, right over Liberty''s face, bright yellow, magenta, royal blue, and emerald green with a flash of third cycle yellow and lime right in the recess of Liberty''s eye. Then we get into the repeating bands of the near-terminal cycle of burgundy, forest green, and plum intermingled with terminal spectrum plum/charcoal near the upper left obverse rim. Such a perfect coin for someone who wants a stunning Gem featuring the full spectrum of Rainbow colors seen on Morgan dollars.
