1882 $1 PCGS PR66+DCAM Proof Morgan Dollar - Finest Known! Pop 1/0!
Pop 1/0 in PR66+DCAM. There are 3 others in PR66 but none have attained the + by PCGS of which the coin has to be in the top 80% of the population. Since the population is only 4 coins, that makes this example the finest and deservedly so. The dates usually associated with a proof type coin for the Morgan series are 1896, 1897, and 1898. The 1881 and 1882 proofs were just as well made, but not as many survived the intervening 15 years because of cleaning and other forms of attrition. The fields are deeply reflective and the mirrored flash sets up a black background against the thick whiteness of the perfect and frosted devices. There are no post-striking impairments as well. This fantastic coin is the pinnacle of 1882 Proof Morgan dollars. Do not miss your chance to own the FINEST 1882 Deep Cameo Morgan Dollar in existence.
