1925 Medal PCGS MS64 Lustrous Norse Medal - Thick
This fantastic medal was struck in 1925 and is lovingly known as a Norse Medal. Sorry Columbus, Leif Erikson found America close to 500 years before your sorry ass did. While Leif was only commemorated by this Medal, which comes in both thick and thin varieties in silver and in smaller sizes composed of both copper and gold. Meanwhile, Columbus gets his name on the Columbian Exposition that occurred in 1892 and 1893 (even though there was a replica Viking ship parked just outside the event in protest). Columbus was even honored with a national holiday and an 1892 and 1893 Commemorative. Don''t believe everything you read in history books in school kids.
