1912 $10 NGC MS65 Blazing PQ Indian Gold Eagle
I bought this coin in an old NGC fattie holder which you can see in the slab shot. I sent the coin in for a walkthrough at NGC in Boston but all they did was take it out of the cool old holder and into a new holder. I honestly thought this coin had a serious shot for 66. I''ve seen MUCH worse in 66 holders. Oh well, I guess it just wasn''t my day. PCGS Price guide for a 65 is $12,000. As a 66, PCGS says $23,000. I think we have our answer as to why it wasn''t upgraded. Take a look at the pictures and decide for yourself. Beautiful frosty orange gold and clean as the day is long.
