1854 1c NGC PF66BN Blue Chocolate Flying Eagle Cent J-164
Population 3 with a mere 2 finer in PR67BN (No RBs). This particular patter has a specific alloy consisting of 93 percent Copper, 6 percent Tin, and 1 percent Zinc. This is a fabulously rare pattern and is registered as an R-5. There are only a total of 15 graded in at NGC with a smaller number at PCGS. This particular coin is bettered by only 2 other examples. This fabulous coin is absolutely beautiful with shades of steely blue and teal over the smooth chocolate surfaces. A close inspection of the fields and devices show that there is no reason this coin would give the 2 finer examples a solid run for their money as the strike is 100 percent and there are NO, Zero, Ziltch, marks or distractions on this coin. The PCGS Price guide indicates a value of $13,800 for this coin at this grade level. At my asking price, you simply have no excuses to pass on this rare beauty.
