1881-S $1 NGC MS64* Monster Binion Textile Morgan - Evil Christmas Tree

Intensely lustrous mirrors make this coin incredilby difficult to image. A deep band of rainbow hues flows in a crescent along the left obverse field with haunting third cycle hues of deep orange and limey green flowing across the rest of the obverse. These stunning and rare hues are dotted along with a moderate textile pattern. Binion toners typically do not drop jaws. They are primarily dusty browns and sometimes found with a lavendar haze. This coin is one of two from that famous hoard and in all my years, I have yet to come across anything close to these two beasts from the Binion hoard. I cannot stress how difficult this coin was to image. So, to get a shot showing how lustrous this coin is and exhibiting the massive POP factor, here is a shot from my camera phone (yeah, stop laughing).
