1882 U.S. Morgan Dollar Haunted Love Token - Lizzie
Magical 1882 U.S. Morgan Dollar Amazing Love Token - "Lizzie"
A theory on how the obverse got that abrasion. Young Elizabeth received this beautiful love token from her lover who tragically passed in a bizarre accident at a horse pulling competition at the local fair. He missed his sweet Lizzie so much he was stuck in a tweener world and was unable to access heaven. Through writings on a steamed mirror while she bathed he was able to communicate to her his plight and the need for a supernatural ritual involving the coin (since it was so close to her as a piece from her lover's heart). A shard of it had to be removed and used in the ritual. (that's where the scratch came from) He goes to heaven and they all live, well....exist, happily ever after.
