This is one very nice and beautiful 1882 $100 Gold certificate. This note is of the highest quality with great color and excellant centering. All of the 1882 series Gold certificates are very desirable and highly sought after. You can see the stunning dark burnt-orange gold color on the reverse. So many of these 1882 series of gold certificates have a faded gold color. Not this one. The broad margins are easily the highlight of this note, especially on the back. The lipstick red scalloped seal jumps out at you. This is one Gold certificate that is sure to bring a lot of attention to collectors. By the way I still cannot see any folds. The serial number is M818352 and it is in a PMG-58 Almost Uncirculated holder.
