Here is the "Holy Grail" of all US Small size currency notes for your viewing pleasure. This is THE VERY FIRST 1929 $5 Federal Reserve Bank Note ever PRINTED as it is from the AA block!!! This famous pedigreed note is a very "UNIQUE" note among all the 13 serial number one star notes known. It is the famous 1929 $5 Boston FRBN with the serial number of A00000001*. Not only is this is the very first 1929 $5 FRBN note printed and issued and it's a star note of top of that.

This was a presentation note that was presented to a prominent dignitary and has been put away and stored for many years. That is why it is in a PMG-64EPQ holder. It has never seen a day of circulation.

It is not often that a collector get an opportunity to own a FIRST. There is only one collector who will own this rare and famous pedigreed note. It has been suggested by many prominent collectors that it should donated to the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC for all Americans to see as it is a very important part of the US monetary history. I have displayed this note along with my 7 other serial number one stars at many currency shows throughout the country.

For many years this pedigreed note was part of the famous Dean Oaks FRBN Star collection which was auctioned off in 2003. This pedigreed is one of the highlights of the famous "Jhon E Cash Collection". No amount of money can acquire this piece of Americana history once it has been placed with a new collector.
