This is one of those notes that only come around once in a lifetime. This is a Chicago $500 FRN star with the super low single-digit serial number of G00000002*. It has been graded as a PMG VF-30, although the grade is not that important. This note was discovered several years ago in a North Carolina coin shop. This note appeared on eBay in 2007 advertised for $80,000. This is the only serial #2 star note known for all 1928 or 1934 $500 and $1,000 bills, including all star notes. There is only one serial number one star known for all the $500 and $1,000 FRNs. It is the 1934 $500 Kansas City star, serial number J00000001* and it is valued at over $300,000. It currently resides in the Jhon E Cash Collection along with this note. This note is a steal at this price. You can now own a piece of Americana history!
