This is one of the 14 1928 $1,000 FRN star notes known to exist in all districts. How rare is that? Recently I sold a 1934 $1,000 FRN star note for $72,000 from the Dallas district. This is a 1928! There are 14 1928's, 113-1934''s and 13-1934A''s for a total of 140 known. This is also one of the finest known 1928 $1,000 stars of districts. It currently resides in the Jhon E Cash Collection. Funny thing, this 1928 Philadelphia $1,000 star has the same serial number C00000181* as my 1934 New York $1,000 star from new York, B00000181*.
