This special and famous 1899 #1 Silver Certificate, FR-230*. This special note is out of my Private Collection. The serial # is *1954534B. It is very UNIQUE as it once belonged to KING Farouk I of Egypt, the 10th ruler of the Muhammad Ali Dynasty. He was born in Feb. 1922 % died in March 1965. This note was SILKED completely on front and back to keep it from the elements. Ive had a few other pieces of his notes over the years. The note has a amazing hard silky feel to it. Its hard to explain. It is a very fine silk covering on both sides. FR-230 stars are one of the harder Black Eagle stars to locate in any grade. A neat and valuable collectors item. The serial number is *1954534B. A neat note with a rich and famous heritage.
