This beautiful 1899 $2 Silver Certificate is commonly referred to as the "Agriculture Note". The front features a picture of George Washington between figures of Mechanics and Agriculture. The engraver for the note was the famous C.F.C. Smile. This note is a prime GEM example with nice even margins and superb centering. It also features a deep blue pair of serial numbers and a light Blue Scalloped Seal. This Fr.-255 is one of the key signature combinations of the series.

There are no rips, tears, pinholes, marks, folds ,or missing pieces. Its completely original as the day it was printed. Never repaired or doctored.

It has been graded a PMG GEM-65EPQ.
