Here is a very nice Fr.-36* or a 1917 $1 Legal Tender star note. This type of note is commonly refered to as the Saw Horse note because of its back design. I actually like the intricate design on the back. There is a small split on the top left margin which you cannot see, however it is there. There are no pinholes or missing pieces. This is a good circulated type note for the star collector who does not want to spend a lot of money. I would call this a Fine Plus to a Very fine. The serial number is *4123937B. Check the large scans.
