PMG and PCGS are the only two TRUE independent currency-grading services available. I highly recommend these two companies for those of you who want to get their currency certified and graded for insurance purposes or simply, a peace of mind.

This is one beautiful 1869 $2 Legal Tender. It is commonly referred to as the Rainbow note because of the beautiful multicolored spectrum of rainbow colors that permeates across its face. The serial number is U631242 and it resides in a PCGS-40PPQ holder.

The 1869 Rainbow series of legal tenders is one of the most collected series of all US notes along with the Chief note, the Bison note and the Educational silver certificates series of 1896.

This example has absolutely NO issues of repairs, pinholes or cleaning. That is why PCGS has given it the PPQ designation. If you are looking for a totally original high end very fine 1869 $2 rainbow note that will not set you back $7K to $10K, you have to seriously consider this one. This beauty is really priced to sell quickly!
