This is a REAL NICE AND VERY RARE 1882 $10 Date Back second Charter from the First National Bank of Weatherford Texas. The Charter # is 2477. Weatherford is located just a few miles south of Ft Worth, Texas. This is the FINEST of the two known second charter reported on this bank. The note has no rips, tears, pinholes or bank stamp marks. The centering is perfect, considering these early notes were hand cut at the bank. It is Hand Stamped. KELLYS BOOK LIST THIS NOTE AT $2500 IN HIS 2007 BOOK. Check out the vivid dark blue serial numbers and seal. Unbelievable. The charter number is 2477 and the serial number is 6943. There are 12 large size notes known in all denominations on this bank and this is the finest of the two $10 1882 Date Backs.
