Here is something you rarely see or come across. You never see these Canadian Centennial Specimen sets for sale anywhere. This set consists of two multi-faced 1967 $1 Canadian Dollar bills that are punched canceled with the words Specimen across the bill. It is also the only set that is a Centennial Specimen. In other words they cover 100 years from 1867 to 1967. They do not carry serial numbers as they are Specimen notes. Specimen notes were sent from one country to other countries to use to properly identify real Canadian currency from counterfeit currency. They were not designed for general use by the public. Therefore you rarely come across these sets. If you are into Canadian currency or simply want something that is very unusual to own, this is for you. You won’t find these Specimen sets in many collections of any type. These two notes are in ONE large PMG holder. They are graded as superb GEM PMG-66EPQ.
