US Papermoney will take you to a site that is full of information on everything you ever wanted to know about our US currency. Almost everything anyway. Very cool site!

PMG and PCGS are the only two TRUE independent currency-grading services available. I highly recommend these two companies for those of you who want to get their currency certified and graded for insurance purposes or simply, a peace of mind.

This is a very nice and elusive 1882 $20 Gold Certificate in high grade. All of the 1882 $20 and especially $50 dollar gold certificates are very difficult to find without any repairs. I have been looking either one with a EPQ or PPQ notation, but they have not been around for the last several auctions or shows.

I really liked this note because it was problem free with extraordinary dark and vibrant burnt-orange golden colors on the reverse. Most of the gold certificate are faded due to past cleanings and natural fading. I also purchased a 1882 $50 gold certificate in a PCGS-35 holder which may still be on the website.

If you are in the need of a unusually nice high grade 1882 $20 Gold Certificate that has some of the best original inks you can find, this is a must consideration. Check out the large scans and check out the colors to see what I mean. I see a lot of these types of notes and this is one of the best original coloring I have seen in quite some time. I paid a little more for it, but I feel it is worth it. The serial number is C14846926 and is in a problem free PMG-50 holder.
