This is a real nice example of the 1906 $20 Gold Certificate. It is a one year issue with four differ3ent signature combinations. It features the head of George Washington and the small gold scalloped seal on the right. The reverse is the same design as the 1905 and 1922 issues.

What attracted me to this particuliar note was it originality and the bright burn-golden colors on the reverse. Most of these gold notes were pressed out and cleaned years ago. Once the gold certificates were cleaned the color faded and embossing flattened. This example has never been pressed or cleaned. It is totally original. There are NO rips, tears, pinholes, edge nicks or bank marks anywhere. You will notice the nice paper wave from the reverse. You want to see that for any original note. The serial number is H2838989 and it is housed in a nice PCGS-40PPQ holder. This would make a superb example for a nice original mid grade collection.
