PMG and PCGS are the only two TRUE independent currency-grading services available. I highly recommend these two companies for those of you who want to get their currency certified and graded for insurance purposes or simply, a peace of mind.

The 1906 $20 Gold Certificate is a one year issue note. This example is one of the nicer ones I have owned. The front margins are near perfect but check out the large even boardwalk margins on the reverse. That is what makes this example so nice. The deep golden burnt-orange color is so vivid it jumps out at you. I am not sure why this did not get a EPQ, maybe it was one of the first ones turned in before PMG gave out EPQ designations. PMG did not use EPQ for their first six months in existence. It does not matter because there are no rips, tears, pinholes or any other issue I can see. The serial number is H14401506 and it is in a Choice Uncirculated PMG-64 holder.
