This is an outstanding 1922 $20 Gold certificate. I have owned a lot of these Fr.-1187 notes and this is without exception one of the finest ever even though it is graded as a PMG-64EPQ. Only the top front margins prevent this from being a GEM-66EPQ note by a hair. What really matters to collectors is the total originality, vibrant colors, centering and embossing that can clearly be seen. All of these traits are what makes notes truly desirable. You will notice on the back of the holder that PMG has notated not only Exceptional Paper Quality but also Great Embossing. PMG rarely does this unless the note is truly displaying embossing that can be seen through the holder. The back colors and margins display GEM-67EPQ qualities. Here is a chance for someone to own a very special 1922 $20 gold certificate at a great price. The serial number is K40594136 and is in a PMG-64EPQ holder. I personally hand picked this note because of its high standards.
