Fr.-1187 It has been a very long time since I’ve been able to acquire a 1922 $20 Gold Certificate of this caliber. This is one of the most perfectly margined notes I’ve ever owned. It is easy to see why it was graded by PMG as a superb GEM-66EPQ. It has it all, the centering, the margins, the color and deep punch through embossing. Check out the golden burnt-orange color on the back. Also notice the broadwalk wide margins all the way around. This is how a superb GEM should be!

A recent sale of a identical note, serial # K29743244, sold in the Heritage auction sale held on April 24th in Chicago, Lot # 18179 page 145 in catalog and sold for $7050 in a PMG-66EPQ. I bought this note the day BEFORE the auction and am able to offer it to my clients for substantially less. You will not find a better or nicer example of this 1922 $20 Gold Certificate anywhere on the internet. It won’t last long. The serial number is K85962123 and resides in a PMG-66EPQ holder. They are currently selling for well over $6,500 in 66 holders in all the major auctions.
