This is the nicest 1913 $50 Gold Certificate that I have ever had on this website. I've been looking for over two years for a original 1913 $50 Gold Certificate in a AU PPQ/EPQ grade. This one year issue note is very special as it was ONLY issued one year and it features a bust of Ulysses S Grant on the face. It seems to be one of the key notes of the large size gold certificates to find.

Check out the beautiful burnt orange colors on the obverse and fantastic margins all around. This is a fantastic type note for the AU collector. Not many around! I was very excited to get this note in this grade. The serial number is A927051 and is in a PCGS-53PPQ holder.
