The Bureau of Engraving and Printing's (BEP) takes you to the official government site of the BEP for some interesting information and facts on all of our US currency.

US Papermoney will take you to a site that is full of information on everything you ever wanted to know about our US currency. Almost everything anyway. Very cool site!

The American Numismatics Association (ANA) is a professional organization for those who want to further learn about US coins and currency.

PMG and PCGS are the only two TRUE independent currency-grading services available. I highly recommend these two companies for those of you who want to get their currency certified and graded for insurance purposes or simply, a peace of mind.

VERY-VERY RARE! This very note is one of my all time favorite Large Size star notes. Here is one hell of a nice and very rare Golden 1922 $100 Gold Certificate Star Note. For those of you who are in the know, there are only about 17 of these known and most of them are in Fine condition. I have owned several of the ones in fine condition over the years and to be able to purchase this jewel was a blessing to me. As a major large star collector for many years, I knew exactly what I had stumbled upon. It immediately went into my private Jhon E Cash Collection of Large Size Stars. I purchased this note from a coin shop in South Carolina a few years ago. The client walked in the coin show and wanted to sell this note along with a cigar box of full of old coins. The coin dealer called me and we did a deal that everyone came out a winner. I could not believe I had finally had located one of the very, very few unmolested 1922 $100 Gold Certificate stars. This one was new to the census as the collector had it put away for many years. I could not wait till I received it in the mail a few days later. This is one of the rarest and hardest to find Large Size Gold Certificates stars known, the 1922 $100 Gold Certificate. PMG has only graded one higher and it’s in a PMG-40EPQ. The note that is in a PMG-40EPQ holder is on a dealer’s website right now for $27,000 wholesale, $30,000 retail. It is only the second EPQ star I know of for this type. This beauty is in the Jhon E Cash Collection for now. Whichever collector eventually ends up with this jewel will proudly display it as the crown jewel of their Large Size Star Collection.
