PMG and PCGS are the only two TRUE independent currency-grading services available. I highly recommend these two companies for those of you who want to get their currency certified and graded for insurance purposes or simply, a peace of mind.

This is one of those rare notes that comes along every once in a great while. This is a "Hand Cut" 1929 $5 NBN from the tough First National Bank of Crockett, Texas. It is also one of the few serial number one notes from the A-A Block. Which means this was the first $5 bill printed from this bank. How cool is that? It is located near Houston in Houston County. The city was named after Davey Crockett, The legendary fighter who died in the Alamo in 1836.

There are only 7 large size and 13 small size notes known from this bank. Of the five 1929 Type-1 notes known....this is the only serial number one note that survived.

A TRUE RARITY FOR TEXAS COLLECTORS. JEC
