This is a very nice 1934A $500 FRN from the popular and tough Cleveland District. The serial number is D00054200A and is in a PMG-50EPQ holder. It is getting very difficult to find any original $500 or $1,000 bills anymore. Most all of them have been cleaned and pressed to try and enhance their value. So when you do find an original never doctored note, you jump at the opportunity to own it. Here today I offer you a very nice example with four squared corners and punch through embossing that can be seen through the holder. There are no rips, tears, pinholes or marks of any kind. Slight bank teller handling to the right top keeps it from a much higher grade. This is common as all notes had to be hand counted in vaults for bank inventory
