Philadelphia Freedom! This is a real nice example of the 1934 $1,000 Philadelphia star note. There are only ten (10) examples of this Philly star known. The serial number is C00002534. It is hard to tell, but I believe that this is a Lime Green or Light Green seal. It is hard to believe that PMG only gave this a VF-25 grade. Look at the scans and you will see why I question the grade. There are no visible pinholes, bank marks or rips. The centering is decent for the grade and the margins seem to be just fine. Go figure! This Philly star has been put into a PMG VF-25 holder and bears the serial number of C00002534*.
