PMG and PCGS are the only two TRUE independent currency-grading services available. I highly recommend these two companies for those of you who want to get their currency certified and graded for insurance purposes or simply, a peace of mind.

This is a very nice and original 1934 $1,000 FRN from the Kansas City district featuring the Light Green Seal Variety (LGS). What make this note so unusual and attractive is two things: One, it is a scarce Light Green Seal which is highly desirable and scarcer than the standard common Dark Green Seal (DGS). Secondly, it is a PPQ note which means it is totally original having never been pressed and cleaned as most all of the 1934 $500 and $1,000 dollar bill have been.

It is so hard to find a very nice and original mid grade 1934 $1,000 LGS with a PPQ/EPQ designator. Believe me when I say I look through hundreds and thousands of these $1,000 bills before I find one like this.

The serial number of the beauty is J00006583A and resides in a PCGS-35PPQ holder.
