The Bureau of Engraving and Printing's (BEP) takes you to the official government site of the BEP for some interesting information and facts on all of our US currency.

US Papermoney will take you to a site that is full of information on everything you ever wanted to know about our US currency. Almost everything anyway. Very cool site!

The American Numismatics Association (ANA) is a professional organization for those who want to further learn about US coins and currency.

PMG and PCGS are the only two TRUE independent currency-grading services available. I highly recommend these two companies for those of you who want to get their currency certified and graded for insurance purposes or simply, a peace of mind.

No Longer Available

This is a new item to the Jhon E Cash Ultra High Denomination census. I just acquired this Very Fine 1934 $5,000 in December of 2012. Lately there have not been any decent $5,000 or $10,000 bills available anywhere. The prices are definitely moving up almost, but not quite to the pre 2007 prices. This one became available and I jumped on it because I can offer it for a really nice and attractive price. Most of the Ultra High denoms are in much higher grade and command a big premium from $85,000 to well over a $100,000. Here is the chance for a savvy collector to own one for a very decent low price. The serial number is B00000051A and it is in a PCGS VF-20 holder. I will be taking this note with me to the next few shows starting on 2/6/2013 at the Long Beach Show. It may be sold fairly soon, get it while you can as it is well below market price. This may be the only time that you ever see a decent 1934 genuine $5,000 bill for under $65,000.
