This 1934 $5,000 bill is one of the best purchases of any Ultra High-Denomination that I have had for many years. This is a 1934 $5,000 from the Chicago district that is housed in a PCGS-62PPQ holder the serial number is G00001141A. What make this one so special you ask? First off this is only the fourth Uncirculated PPQ or EPQ $5,000 I have owned. The latest was a $5,000 was in a PMG-64EPQ that was sold a few years ago. One $5,000 in a PMG-65EPQ holder was also sold for over $200,000 a few years back. Secondly the whole world can plainly see that this is not a 62 graded note. It clearly has the color, margins and paper quality for an easy 64EPQ grade. But as it was explained to me, because of minor counting handling in the upper right it received a 62EPQ grade. I call BS on this because it is what it is, an utterly outstanding and totally original and truly uncirculated 1934 $5,000 bill. There are only a very few PMG-EPQ or PMG-PPQ $5,000 known to exist. Here is one of them. The third thing is a bit of magic. With the purchase of this note, I now have in stock, two consecutive serial numbered $5,000 notes. I also have the 1934 $5,000 bill serial number G00001140A in a PMG-53 holder. This is a set that should be offered on Pawn Stars as that is how rare this feat is. I will be offering them as a SET or I will sell them individually. Of the total 224 $5,000’s known there less that 12 Uncirculated PCGS-PPQ or PMG-EPQ notes known and I have the serial number of all of them. For your information there are 231 1928 and 1934 $10,000 bills and 224 of little sister, the $5,000. For more information on this note or others please contact me at 214-769-9936.
