THIS IS ONE OF THOSE EXTREMELY RARE TIMES WHEN LOST TWINS GET BACK TOGETHER AGAIN AFTER ALMOST 80 YEARS OF SEPERATION.
Here is an extremely rare opportunity for a very special collector or investor to become one of the first collectors ever to own two consecutive seriated numbered 1934 $5,000 bills. I acquired the first one serial number G00001140A form a past client and have been sitting on it for myself. I had owned it once before. The second $5,000 just happens to come available and I jumped on the opportunity to acquire it. I have been dealing with $5,000 and $10,000 bills for many years and this is a first for me. I had to have both notes. So I purchased it so I could offer to this very special set to a select group of clients in the collecting community. I love to find notes like this. On the TV Program Cajun Pawn Stars aired last November 2012, there was one episode that they were offered two sets of ultra high-denominations: one each 1934 $10,000 bill and one each 1934 $5,000 bill as a set: both notes with exactly the same serial number. One set was serial numbered 32 and the second set was serial numbered 42. I assembled the sets for the client who offered them to the program. They are the only sets of ultra high-denomination notes that could ever be offered with the same serial numbers. Well here is another similar chance for that lucky advanced collector or investor. If you desire to own a rare piece of Americana history that not everyone can boast of….This is it! For your information…, it is easier to assemble this set on the $10,000 bills since the Binion Hoard has many examples of this. However on the $5,000 bill it is very rare. I do not want to break this set up.
Here one of those opportunities that comes along once in a person’s lifetime that may never happen again.
The $5,000 serial number G00001141A is a PCGS-62PPQ which is one of the eight Uncirculated PPQ notes in the census. The $5,000 serial number G00001140A is a PCGS-53 with Embossing and Great Color Notated. What a great set! Neither one of the notes has any rips, tears, pinholes or other problems.
