Jhon E Cash Rare Currency, Ltd. of Dallas, TX is the premier reseller of 1934 $5,000 and $10,000 bills. Over the last 17 years we have attended and continue to set up at 18-24 major coin and currency shows a year throughout the U.S. We offer only PMG and PCGS graded notes, most of them with the EPQ and PPQ notation. We try not to offer repaired, cleaned or pressed notes without the EPQ or PPQ notation. Those types of notes are readily available on many other sites. The exception to this rule being very rare notes or $5,000 and $10,000 bills. We believe there is a very strong market for astute collectors who want and appreciate notes that display originality, nice centering and nice color. If this description fits you then you're at the right place because that is Jhon E Cash Currency's market!
As the market goes up on $5K and $10K notes, I repurchase them notes from past clients and re offer them back into the collecting community.
Description: An authentic 1934 Boston $10,000 bill in PMG-55net holder.
You are viewing a very rare and authentic ultra high denomination note, a 1934 $10,000 bill from the ever popular and scarce Boston District. You hardly ever see a Boston $10,000 bill hit the open Market. It is encapsulated in PMG-AU-55 holder. This is very rare Boston $10,000 bill with only 19 known to exist in the census. Think about this: it was the 107th 1934 $10,000 bill printed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. How cool is that? It has absolute GEM margins on both sides and it features a vivid light green seal. Salmon P Chase, the 25th Secretary of State under President Abraham Lincoln graces the front.
In the Jhon E Cash $5,000 and $10,000 Census, there are 19 $10,000 bills from the Boston district that are known to have survived. This Boston $10,0000 bill has a low three-digit serial number of A000000107A and resides in a PMG-55 holder and is also new to the census. As you can see, this is a beautiful and authentic $10,000 bill with perfect margins all around and has dark green inks with a Light Green Seal. A superb example for the special collector who desires a graded rarity that doesn't cost $150,000 plus.
For the sake of honesty, there is a comment by PMG on the back of the note by that says REPAIRED. With my 10 power loupe I have a difficult time even locating it. It is so miniscule that you definitely cannot see it with the naked eye and it does not go into the design. If you look hard with a 10X loupe at the bottom margin between the R and S in DOLLARS you will barely see a miniscule professional repair of a small split in the margin. It does not distract the overall beauty or rarity of the note.
In the recent Heritage auction held in Tampa on January 7th, 2016 a 1934 New York $10,000 bill serial # B00003058A in a PMG-64 holder lot # 20627 sold in auction for incredible $188,100 and worth every penny. This Boston looks as nice for a whole lot less! This is a chance to own an authentic 1934 $10,000 at a very respectable price. Jhon E Cash will buy it back when you are ready to sell it back into the market. I offer a 7 day return policy for a full refund. I want you to be very happy with your purchase as I am foremost a collector first and a dealer second. Please take the time to look closely at the scans and imagine you holding it in you hands and showing it to your close friends.
