This is a very nice and extremely rare 1928 $20 Star Note graded in a PCGS-62 Net holder. According to the PCGS population report it is the second finest 1928 $20 Star note of the 57 they have graded. I can see why. It is the very first uncirculated $20 Gold Certificate star I have ever owned and I have owned a few. It has been off the market since late 1980.

There is a tiny closed pinhole between the R and T of Certificate on the left side in the bottom of the gold seal. This is totally minor and cannot be seen by the naked eye. If I had not mentioned it you would NEVER have seen it. If it had not been expertly closed there would not be a comment on the holder. Never the less it is very rare and highly collectable.

This gold certificate star has been in the infamous Jhon E Cash Collection for some time and now I am putting it back into circulation for others to own. The serial number is *00365383A. This is your one chance to get a uncirculated 1928 $20 Gold Certificate Star.
