This is a very nice example of the 1928 $100 Gold Certificate in a PCGS-45PPQ holder. The golden serial numbers are A01363164A. I made a promise to myself a while back that I would only purchase gold certificates that are totally original with the EPQ or PPQ designator. So many of the 1928 gold certificates have been cleaned and pressed that it is very hard to locate any of them with the PPQ or EPQ. So when I do find them I buy them at the best price I can. There is a high demand for these notes. This example is very nice with no rips, tears, pinholes and it has NOT been pressed. It has even margins on the front and back and the centering is dead on! The colors are as they should be, bright and golden. This note will make a great addition for a nice XF/AU collection.
