PMG and PCGS are the only two TRUE independent currency-grading services available. I highly recommend these two companies for those of you who want to get their currency certified and graded for insurance purposes or simply, a peace of mind.

This is always one of the favorite small size notes for collectors. The popular 1928 $1,000 Gold Certificate. The 1928 $1,000 Gold Certificate is the largest small size denomination gold certificate ever offered to the public. It is highly popular and sought after by astute collectors. I can tell you this, I have bought and sold a quite a few of these notes and I have not found a nicer VF note than this one. What makes this one so nice is the fact that it is totally problem free. No rips, tears, pinholes, bank stamps, hard soiled folds or ink writings. This note was put away many years ago by some smart investor and it is just now coming to surface in the market. Check the scans and you will agree that it has very even margins, perfect centering and exceptional gold color. If you have been in the market for one of these rarities, you really need to consider this one. The serial number is A00010344A and is in a PCGS Very Fine holder.
