It is not often that one can purchase a nice mid grade 1896 $5 Educational Note in a PMG-30EPQ holder. This $5 Education Note is a Fr.-269 with the Bruce-Roberts signature combination. DO NOT confuse this with the more common Fr.-268 with the Tillman- Morgan signature combination. There half as many Fr.-269 notes as the Fr.-268 version.

Most all of the $5 Educationals in or near this grade have major issues or have been cleaned and pressed. NOT this $5 Educational as it is totally original with NO rips, tears, pinholes, soiling or marks. This could easily pass as a PMG-40 notes as the the corners afr firm and the margins are even all the way around on both the front and back. The inks are still as vivid as the day they were printed

Some lucky collector is going to be very happy with this $5 Educational note or I will buy it back from you! The serial number is 22500029 and it is in a conservative PMG-30EPQ holder.
