This is an outstanding Fr-272 1899 $5 Silver Certificate. It is commonly referred to as a Chief note. If you look closely at this one you will be hard pressed to find anything wrong with it. It looks like someone put this one away in a book a long time ago. You can tell it has had little or no circulation by looking at the corners. They are perfect with no hard folds. There is no soil anywhere on it. It is a perfect fit for a type collection of EF/AU collection. The embossing can be seen through the holder. There are no rips, tears, pinholes or bank marks. The serial number is B2854277 and it has been graded as a PCGS EF-40PPQ.
