Here is another great example of the ever popular 1899 $5 Silver Certificate commonly reffered to as the Chief Note. It is totally original and has never been doctored. There are no rips, tears, pinholes or bank stamps. The four corners are squared and the centering is dead on. There are no hard folds with soil and the color is as bright and vivid as one would expect for a PPQ note. The origionality is effident in the paper and the embossing is easy to see from the holder. If you need a GREAT example of a real nice mid-grade note, this is the one. The serial number is N50066618 and is housed in a very nice PCGS-40PPQ holder.
