Fr.-287 This is the famous 1880 $10 Silver Certificate commonly referred to as the Morris note or the "Black Back" note because of the black coloring of the word SILVER across the back. Robert Morris was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and was also Superintendent of Finance from 1781 to 1784. The serial number is B1358568 and resides in a PMG-Fine12 holder. This is a super note for the collector who needs a type note and does not want to spend well over $10,000 for a XF example. This one will sell fast.
