This is another new purchase from the Memphis show. It is an 1862 $5 Legal tender with serial number 43612 and is in a PMG-55EPQ Holder. If you don not want to spend a lot of money for a perfect type example of this series, this note is for you. The reason this note is not a GEM-65PPQ note is because there is a small fold that looks like an as-made paper bend that covers the left corner side. To me it does not appear to be a complete fold as it does not break the paper. Check for yourself on the large scans. Other than that you have a totally problem free unmolested 1862 $5 legal tender note. The serial number is 43612 and it is in a PMG-55EPQ holder.
