THIS IS A SUPERBLY OUTSTANDING NOTE! THIS NOTE IS THE FINEST OF THE 3 KNOWN $50 1902DBs ON THE BANK. Please see the enlarged scans. This handcut 1902 $50 Plain Back hails from The DIXON National Bank of Dixon Illinois. The ser # is 1369 and the charter is # 1881. There are no rips or tears. Exceptional centering along with bright paper and rich color give this note lovely eye appeal. The Cashiers signature is very legible. I thought that the Presidents signature was a hand stamped, but its not. The last one sold for $2760 on 5/27/2004 in NY in a CGA EF-40 holder. GRADED AS A PMG VF-35EPQ
