This is a very nice 1918 $2 Boston Battleship in a PCGS-35EPQ holder. the reason I purchase this not is because it is difficult to find a nice clean midgrade Battleship that has never been doctored or cleaned and pressed. The serial number is A3852927 and it resides in a PCGS VF-35 PPQ holder. Most of these notes come in GEM condition and sell for $3800 to $5400 depending on the district. This 1918 $2 battleship would make a very nice note for the type collector who does not want to spend a ton of cash to acquire a nice EPQ/PPQ example. I try to buy only EPQ and PPQ notes.

The front shows the head of Thomas Jefferson the President of the United States from 1801 to 1805 and the back displays a 1914 era US Battleship.
