Here is a nice GEM 1907 $1 Legal Tender. The serial number is B58901371 and it resides in a GEM PMG-65EPQ holder. This note is sometimes referred to as the Pioneer Family or Woodchopper note because of the vignette on the face. It also features a portrait of Andrew Jackson our 7th US president from 1829-1833. At the right is the small lipstick red scalloped seal. Just view the back to get an idea of what our currency used to look like. How beautiful it is and just imagine the work and hours it took to create such details.
